Walking around Barcelona part II.

In the morning we went to our park de la cuitadella, takes some photos.

From there we took the subway to Padua station. Close to this station is the famous "red house", which impresses with its appearance. A disadvantage of this house is that is located in a narrow and busy alley. While we managed to make at least a few photos without cars, it took us a while. This house was a little disappointing for us, probably because of the atmosphere we felt there.

From the red house, we walked down the street to Gaudi's house. The first, less known, but interesting enough was Casa Vicens. There are fewer tourists, it is completely different than any Gaudi building and if you want to go inside, you pay only 7 € per entry.

This house is very interesting, you will make nice pictures of it and it is located on the same street as the remaining two houses of Gaudi. On the way from Casa Vicens, we stopped for a quick lunch and continued to Casa Mila and Casa Battlo.

Casa Mila, a house that is timeless,  and the building are constructed with little details that attract you. There are also benches in Gaude's style. This house has an entrance fee of around 20 €.

A little lower is the Casa Battlo, which we were not lucky with. At the time we were there, he was completely covered with scaffolding and restored. I am lucky and I saw this house in full beauty of day and night two years ago. It is distinguished by its unique balconies and delicate textures. You will also pay around € 20 for entry.

On the way from these houses, we found ourselves on La Rambla street, where we buy juice and sat on the subway. We took the metro to Sagrada Familia. This charming church is a surprise every time when you see it. Its timelessness and originality are so unmistakable, and you know that this is another Gaudi work. Entry costs are approximately 20 €. I visited this church two years ago. It is beautiful from the outside, even more, beautiful from the inside and still has something to surprise me. I didn't believe how he could think of it all, and how they still come up with it during the original plans. I think 20 € is an adequate price and it is definitely worth looking at Sagrada from the inside.

We spent a few minutes in the park in front of Sagrada, we took a rest on the bench and went back to our accommodation.

On the evening we went to buy various souvenirs, enjoy the atmosphere of the Gothic quarter of the city and even managed to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, which is huge not only from outside but also inside.

After this walk, we went to the room and fell asleep. In the morning at 9:25 we had a flight back to Budapest. We moved to the airport by metro and took about an hour and a half. Therefore, we recommend that you go a little earlier and have a time reserve. After arriving in Budapest, we had still way to Slovakia. The beautiful trip was over and we still enjoy the pictures and the beauty we've seen.
Ráno o 9:25 nás čakal let naspäť do Budapešti.
